Food was very tasty and server was very friendly. I don't think the wedge salad qualifies to be a wedge, as mine was cut up and extremely over dressed. Flavor was fantastic on everything and I know to get my dressing on the side next time, as I don't like the quantity of dressing that most people do. I will definitely be back.

Updating my review since they have their liquor license. It's a small, but good liquor selection. The beer and wine list is full of options. The food is amazing. You can taste the smoke in the meatloaf. It's one of my favorite dishes. We'll be back.

We went here after seeing Guy Fieri visit The Shaved Duck. It was a short drive from the Anheuser-Busch brewery and it was a perfect late Sunday dinner. The service was amazing - it felt like our server was a friend! He was kind and funny as heck. The ambiance is great - it is clean, quirky and cute. I could see going here with the girls or on a date. Go now! :)

If you are in the STL area, The Shaved Duck is one of the "must eat" restaurants. There is a reason why they got a spotlight on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives with Guy Fieri. This dining place provides ambiance, paired together with warm customer service and DELICIOUS BBQ! The brisket burnt ends, pulled pork and chicken are tender and perfectly seasoned, with just the right amount of smoky richness. A few of their signature items are burn ends, cornbread, pulled pork and smothered fries. Pair these with their creamy mac and cheese, baked beans and brussel sprouts and it's a meal that hits all the right notes. Equally impressive is the service staff, who go all out to make every guest welcome. From the time you step inside, you are greeted with genuine smiles and a sense of hospitality you will hardly find anywhere. The servers are knowledgeable with regard to the menu items, happy to recommend pairings, and quick to accommodate special requests. Cozy and inviting, with that rustic charm that makes it perfect for a casual meal or special night out. And if that's not enough, Guy Fieri gave it his stamp of approval. He must have known they put their heart and soul into every single dish that leaves the kitchen. If you're in the area or planning a food-centric trip, The Shaved Duck is a must-visit. Between the amazing food, stellar service, and its TV-worthy appeal, this place deserves all the hype it gets!

A great Triple D restaurant that lives up to the hype. BBQ has great flavor. Moist and just delicious. The poutine was very good, whatever cheese sauce they use for a variety of dishes is stellar. Kids were practically licking their plates clean it was so good. Service was polite and friendly and the space is filled with charm. A must try in St. Louis!

Came into town for work and my coworker raved about this place. I took a quick drive directly from the airport. I turned down a side street and immediately thought I was lost however this corner establishment is in a neighborhood that looks a little sketchy at night but overall was no problems. I walked in and had a seat at the bar. My waitress was really nice. She's the new Bar Manager. She recommended the 3 meat combo with a side of mac and cheese. I told her how my coworker raved about the Burnt Ends so I got a side of that as well. The food came out a short while later. The burnt ends were great! Nice and tender. I also enjoyed the sauce. The Tri-Tips were MONEY!!! They were my favorite part of the meal. The meatloaf was lukewarm. I could easily do without. The pulled pork was solid. Mac & Cheese I could also do without. Overall I'd go back the next time I'm in St. Louis. Food was good. Service was great. Worth the trip for sure.

A great stop for an elevated BBQ experience. We got the two meats but adding burnt ends (additional $7.99). All the meat was tinder, smoky and delicious. The cornbread tho!!!! It stole the show I could not stop eating it and the creamy sweet butter, SOOO good! Highly recommend. Great service, lots of BBQ Sauce options on your table and food came quickly.

Such a good spot, we're so glad to have them back. We like to get the combo and share it so you can get a little bit of everything! Their sides are bomb, love their Mac n cheese. Can't wait for them to get their bar, that's the one thing that's missing. But soon you can get good bbq and good beer!

I'd been wanting to try this place for a while now and finally got around to going. For BBQ we love brisket and if you love brisket too- come check it out. We got the brisket sandwich and burnt ends sandwich (pictured). My partner gave their burnt ends sandwich a 4.5. I quote " It was good. I would've preferred a different sauce. But it was really good overall." I say overall the food was good and no complaints regarding the service!

Holy cow, or should I say pig! We love the pulled pork from here - seriously, some of the absolute best I have ever had (and I have had a lot of pulled pork from a lot of delicious places). Further, the sides are great! To make the experience of dining or taking out from here even sweeter: the staff are AWESOME. They are so helpful and nice. Finally, we were pleasantly surprised by the cute interior and that there was live music on a night we were here recently. If you have not been here and you like pulled pork, you better add it to your list.
